Dwayne Bowe Will Play vs. Seahawks

According to Josh Looney of KCChiefs.com, Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe will see his first action of the 2012 season this Friday night when the Chiefs host the Seattle Seahwks.

It was uncertain whether the Chiefs would play Bowe Friday. He didn’t sign his franchise tender until late last week and he didn’t have his first padded practice with his teammates until Tuesday.

Bowe is likely still learning Brian Daboll’s offense. He has stated that he has been coming in early and leaving late in order to learn his assignments and also Daboll’s terminology. Bowe didn’t seem too concerned about his ability to pick things up quickly and it would seem the Chiefs aren’t too concerned either.

I doubt we will see a ton of Bowe Friday. More than likely he will have a set package of plays that he takes part in to get him started. The Chiefs have enough depth at receiver that they can swap Bowe for Baldwin or Breaston on the outside and still run a two WR set that features credible threats.

What do you think, Addicts? Will Bowe make an impact Friday night or will his being behind cause him to get off to a slow start this season?
