Hard Knocks: Dolphins Up Next On HBO

The Miami Dolphins will appear on HBO’s much-loved show Hard Knocks this season.

The Kansas City Chiefs once appeared on the hit show, which shows a behind the scenes look at an NFL team going through training camp.

The Dolphins are obviously desperate for any kind of publicity. The team has had a lot of trouble winning and as a result, they’ve had an even harder time filling their stadium. The organization is likely hoping that the excitement over the team’s decision to draft QB Ryan Tannehill, combined with the exposure they’ll garner from the television show, will help bring the fans back out to the stadium.

I didn’t have HBO back when the Chiefs were on Hard Knocks but I was able to catch the replays once I got DIRECTV last August. I’m not sure how many of you have watched the show since it originally aired, but boy, is it painful to watch. Almost all of the players and coaches featured on the show are long gone. The team was terrible. So, so terrible.

One of the stars of the show was WR prospect Bobby Sippio who never amounted to anything in the NFL and was recently arrested for kidnapping and attempted murder.

Hard knocks, indeed.

Are you going to watch the Dolphins on HBO this summer?
