Chiefs Preseason Schedule 2012

facebooktwitterreddit

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their much anticipated preseason schedule. The regular season schedule will be released later this month.

Here it is:

Week 1 (Aug. 9-13)

Arizona at Kansas City

Week 2 (Aug. 16-20)

Kansas City at St. Louis (Governor’s Cup)

Week 3 (Aug. 23-26)

Seattle at Kansas City

Week 4 (Aug. 29-30)

Kansas City at Green Bay

All times are TBA. The Chiefs will have no televised preseason games this season.

The third game is the one to keep your eye on as it is traditionally the dress rehearsal for the regular season. The starters should play into the third quarter. The game will be against the Seahawks so I’d like to see the Chiefs perform relatively well in that game. Seattle isn’t a terrible team but they are not great either. Should be a decent barometer of where the Chiefs are at preparation-wise.
