Randy Moss To Return To The NFL

by Chiefs

Thomas Campbell-US PRESSWIRE

According to Randy Moss, Randy Moss plans to un-retire and return to action in the NFL in 2012.

Moss did some kind of web-cast or something to announce the move.

“Faith, family and football, that’s my M.O., bro,” Moss said. “Your boy be back for the upcoming season.”

The question is, will anyone take a chance on the 35-year-old receiver? With Al Davis gone, does Moss have a shot at a comeback?

I wouldn’t be surprised if some team brought Moss in to kick his tires but I doubt that team will be the Chiefs. KC needs to focus on getting their big receiver, Jon Baldwin, ready to start being productive in Brian Daboll’s offense.

I guarantee he wants back to the Patriots and would probably accept an incentative laden contract. I also think Belichick would be open to it. He is the only currently missing piece to that offense. They need the deep threat and when Randy has his head right there is nobody better. Also Brady is on record as being on board. He has not played in over a year and is healthy. They say the speed is still there. Combine him and the fact that the Patriots have two firsts and two seconds in this draft and they will be able to address the defense. Vegas already has them as the favorite for next years Super Bowl. If I had a farm I would bet it on happening.
