According to Jason La Canfora of NFL.com, former Kansas City Chiefs head coach Todd Haley will rejoin the Arizona Cardinals as a member of the team’s offensive coaching staff.
Haley was the offensive coordinator for Arizona the year the team nearly defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl. After that game, Haley was hired to be the head coach of the Chiefs.
I think this is a pretty good move for Haley. His reputation is somewhat tarnished from his time in KC. Rather than take time off, he will be able to jump right back into coaching in a familiar situation. Haley is young and may be able to coach his way into another top job should he do well again in Arizona.
We wish Haley the best out west. Except when he goes up against the Chiefs of course.
