Jack Del Rio To Interview With Chiefs, Says Report

The Kansas City Chiefs coaching search will march on today when the team will interview former Jacksonville Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio according to KCTV5.

Del Rio had a 69-73 record in Jacksonville.

Not a huge fan of Del Rio as a potential hire. He has a long tenure in Jacksonville and was never really able to get the program off the ground.

I would say Crennel is still the favorite to land the job but it seems Pioli is doing a very thorough search. At this rate I doubt the Chiefs will make a move until next week. The NFL frowns upon teams making any big announcements that might take away from the playoffs. If KC is interviewing today, Pioli may be planning to use the weekend to make his decision. We could hear an announcement early next week.
