Carl Peterson Helps Dolphins Interview Jeff Fisher

by Chiefs

The King is back baby.

Our old friend Carl “The King” Peterson helped the Miami Dolphins interview former Titans head coach Jeff Fisher, according to the Florida Sun Sentinel.

Carl Peterson, the former Kansas City football czar and long-time friend of Dolphins owner Steve Ross, is involved in the interviewing of the new Dolphins head coach, two sources said on Tuesday.

Peterson stepped off the helicopter that landed at Dolphins headquarters in Davie with Ross and candidate Jeff Fisher, the sources said.

King Carl is often linked to the Dolphins because of his relationship with Ross. It seems just about every year there is a report that The King is going to take over in South Beach as the team’s GM.

This incident could just be Carl helping out his boy in a consultant role, or it could be the beginning of another reign of terror.

What say ye, former subjects of The King?

Wish there was some way to find out if Pioli ever talked to Fisher or rep to see if there was any common ground?
