Chiefs-Chargers Injury Report

The San Diego Chargers are banged up heading into their crucial division matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.

San Diego released their injury report and there are a few key names that will be missing from action on Monday night.

Here is the damage:

Out: DE Luis Castillo, G Kris Dielman, LB Shaun Phillips

Doubtful: RB Michael Tolbert

Questionable: WR Malcom Floyd, S Darrell Stuckey

Probable: TE Antonio Gates, RB Jacob Hester, RB Ryan Mathews, T Marcus McNeill, C-G Scott Mruczkowski

For the Chiefs, the news is much better.

Probable: S Kendrick Lewis

More after the jump.

The fact that the Chargers are banged up will only help the Chiefs. With Mike Tolbert unlikely to play, San Diego loses a big threat, particularly around the goal line.

The key here will be for the Chiefs to take care of WR Vincent Jackson and TE Antonio Gates. Kansas City has been absolutely dreadful at generating pressure this season and I expect that trend to continue Monday Night. I expect Romeo Crennel will continuously rush four, hoping OLB Tamba Hali can beat the frequent double-teams he is likely to face. The rest of KC’s defenders will likely be focusing on frustrating Philip Rivers with disguised coverages.

What do you think, Addicts? Will injuries have an impact on this game?
