Raiders Trade For Carson Palmer

It’s official. The Oakland Raiders have traded a 2012 first-round draft pick to the Cincinnati Bengals for QB Carson Palmer, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

It is expected that the trade will also include a 2013 first-rounder based on the conditions of Palmer’s play.

Yes, you read all that right. The Raiders have just given up a first-round draft pick, possibly two, for Carson Palmer.

UPDATE: Multiple sources are that the trade is for a 2012 first-round pick and a 2013 second-round pick that can become a first-round pick based on Palmer’s play.

I can’t stop smiling.
