We already told you that the Chiefs worked out FB Mike Cox and RB Sammy Morris in the wake of Jamaal Charles’ season-ending ACL injury.
Now Aaron Wilson of Scout.com is reporting that the Chiefs also worked out Jalen Parmele, Dimitri Nance, Chris Jennings.
Jennings was a promising prospect with the Cleveland Browns a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, he was never able to make anything of his opportunities. He was recently cut in the preseason by the New York Jets.
Parmele is a burner, cut by the Baltimore Ravens at the end of the preseason, and Nance spent last season with the Green Bay Packers.
These guys are backups at best, but the Chiefs need to know what they can do in case another one of their backs goes down to injury. I’d be the most interested in Jennings should the team need him.
