Bill Muir Will Call Plays For The Chiefs

facebooktwitterreddit

Todd Haley finally announced who will call the plays for the 2011 Kansas City Chiefs.

Surprisingly, it won’t be Todd Haley.

It will be the offensive coordinator, Bill Muir.

Muir, 106 years young, has never called plays in the NFL. He was the offensive coordinator for the Bucaneers the year they won the Super Bowl but it was coach John Gruden who called the plays.

More after the jump.

Muir called the plays in the preseason and as you saw, that went extremely well.

The game-planning will be a group effort during the week. I expect Haley will have a heavy influence on the type of plays the Chiefs put in their weekly package, it will just be Muir who will decide what to call and when.

What do you think Addicts? Will Bill Muir come through ? If the Chiefs struggle, how long will it be before he starts calling the plays himself?
