Training camp for me was the best ever! My buddies and I went on season ticket holders day Monday, and the extras were awesome. “Free water, free ice cream bar, sorry about the lockout!” my friend Kent joked as we were handed our coupons. Watching the workouts was great, but the special access autograph session afterwards was a special surprise we didn’t expect, and made the four hour trip worthwhile. The photos were taken by my friends Dan Knetzer and Kent Ogle. I think they turned out great! All the players were extremely friendly, as were Pioli and Haley, who also happily signed. The workout intensities were surprisingly high. The team overall seemed to be in great spirits and happy to see us eagerly mingling with them. We were especially excited about Matt Cassel’s willingness to clown!

My Arrowhead Adventures are just beginning for 2011! I’ll bring back stories and adventures sure to help you sleep on those restless nights! See you then!

Thanks for sharing your awesome photos Randy!! That would really get me jazzed up to see the Chiefs if I had been that close and gotten a little bit of a feel for their personalities etc. Looks like a few of the guys enjoyed visiting with season ticket holders and sharing a couple photo opps. I look forward to hearinga about your future adventures. GO CHIEFS!

Hmmm, picked up one little tidbit on what may be going on with Jonathon Baldwin MIA from Nick Athan over at Warpaint Illustrated: "From all accounts the Chiefs top draft pick had a run-in with the coaching staff. He was missing in action at practice on Wednesday and the rumblings suggest that his absence was not injury related." Is the Diva complex going to torpedo our top draft pick? One thing is for sure. If that is why he is not at practice, he will find out quickly that you do not win against Chief's coaches. I hope we hear soon if he made the trip to tonight's game, and whatever the problem was has been resolved or not.
