Kansas City Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt has released a statement on the passing of respected philanthropist Myra Kraft.
If you weren’t following us on Twitter yesterday then you might have missed this news. Myra Kraft, wife of New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, passed away yesterday after battling cancer. Kraft was a very active philanthropist in the Boston area and was loved and well-respected throughout the NFL. When the news of her passing came yesterday, multiple NFL officials, players and media members expressed their sadness over her death.

“My family and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Myra Kraft, and our thoughts and prayers are with Robert, Jonathan and the entire Kraft family in this difficult time. Myra’s generous spirit and passion for helping others inspired all who knew her, and her legacy will continue to thrive through the work of her family and the countless lives she so positively impacted.”
