Kansas City Chiefs CB Javier Arenas Featured On Sports Illustrated Cover

Javier Arenas is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Sports Illustrated.

Unfortunately, it is not for his work on the football field.

Arenas, an Alabama resident and former member of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team, was in his home during the terrible tornadoes that ripped through his area a few weeks ago. Arenas rode out the storm by taking cover in his bathtub. While his home was spared, many of his neighbors lost everything.

Arenas recently drove to Kansas City to collect supplies to bring back down to Alabama. It is good to see Arenas helping out.

Our thoughts go out to Javier and all of those impacted by the terrible tragedy down south.
