The Kansas City Chiefs season may be over but they do have a few standout players still receiving recognition.

KC running back Jamaal Charles has been nominated for the NFL Fedex Ground Player of the Year Award for his outstanding performance this season.

Charles will go up against Arian Foster who lead the league in rushing yards and Michael Turner of the Atlanta Falcons.

Charles finished the season with 1,467 yards and averaged 6.38 yards per carry (230 carries) and 5 rushing touchdowns.

Charles was nominated for the weekly rushing award 4 times, winning once.

Arian Foster had 1,616 yards and 16 rushing touchdowns on the season and Turner rushed for 1,371 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Charles of course, is the best of the 3 because his rushing average put him in the record books alongside the likes of Jim Brown and Barry Sanders.
