NFL Power Rankings:Chiefs Don’t Budge

ESPN.com has released it’s weekly Power Rankings (a day late because of Tuesday night football) and despite clinching the AFC West title with a win and a Chargers loss, the Kansas City Chiefs have stayed put.

The Chiefs come in once again at #11 despite a convincing victory over the Tennessee Titans in Week 16.

In fact, other than the St. Louis Rams at #16, the Chiefs are the lowest ranked team of what figures to be the 12 NFL playoff teams. Ahead of them are, in order, the Patriots, Falcons, Ravens, Saints, Steelers, Bears, Eagles, Jets, Packers and Colts.

As for the rest of the AFC West, the San Diego Chargers come in at #14 after being ranked #10 just a week ago. The Oakland Raiders aren’t far behind at #17 and the Denver Broncos continue to languish at the bottom, ranked #31 despite Tim Tebow’s solid play in a victory against the Houston Texans last week.

What do you think Addicts? Are the Chiefs getting a fair shake or will they have to do some damage in the postseason before they get any major props?
