Chiefs DE Shaun Smith On KC Pro Bowl Snubs

Never one to keep quiet, Kansas City Chiefs DE Shaun Smith thinks a couple of his teammates got snubbed in the Pro Bowl voting and he has taken to Twitter to make sure people know about it.

Just a day after tweeting a gay slur in the direction of Cincinnati Bengals WR Chad Ochocinco, Smith is defending his Chiefs teammates and calling out Terrel Suggs of the Baltimore Ravens.

Smith started his latest round of tweets by congratulating RB Jamaal Charles for his selection to the Pro Bowl and then he turned his attention to KC’s snubs.

“man tambia (Hali) should have made over suggs but its all good some things will never change plus its a indivdual goal but team is the best thang,” tweeted Smith eloquently.

Smith then mentioned Chiefs’ CB Brandon Flowers, a player many felt deserved a trip to Hawaii.

“b flow u still my dude pro bowl or not,” wrote Smith.

Smith also weighed in on the snub of Chiefs ILB Derrick Johnson.

“also dj got snub to but hey it its what it is,” wrote Smith.

Still, Smith had some advice for all the NFL players who felt they were overlooked as Pro Bowlers this year.

“to all the players that feel like got snub u have to go even harder next year but we chiefs are trying to go hardto all the players that feel like got snub u have to go even harder next year but we chiefs are trying to go hard,” Smith tweeted.

The most interesting of Smith’s tweets has to be the one where he mentions Baltimore Raven’s linebacker Terrel Suggs by name. The Chiefs could very well get a look at Suggs up close in the playoffs in a couple of weeks and it will be interesting to see if the Ravens end up using Smith’s words as bulletin board material.
