No Blackout For The Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs were in danger of having their game against the Tennessee Titans blacked out locally Sunday, however the team has announced that the game has “sold out.”

That means the Chiefs somehow found a way to sell enough tickets that this weekend’s game will be televised.

A number of factors likely contributed to the blackout scare, including a poor economy and the fact that the game is the day after the Christmas holiday.

The Chiefs suffered their first blackout in a number of years last season the the heels of their third straight losing season. This season, however, the Chiefs have never fallen below .500 and have been atop the AFC West since the conclusion of Week 1.
