Madden NFL 11 Roster Update: Cassel, Bowe Boosted

The Kansas City Chiefs have not seen a big drop in the Madden ratings despite getting their tails kicked by the Denver Broncos last week. Surprisingly, KC saw more increases than decreases and a whole bunch of equipment changes that I could care less about.

The highlights are as follows:

Thomas Jones dropped from an 88 overall to an 87 overall after two weeks of being a non-factor. To be fair to Jones, the Chiefs didn’t really use him at all last week. I think at this point, 85 is a fair rating for Jones.

Matt Cassel increased from an 81 overall to an 82 overall. This is all well and good but playing with Cassel will still be maddening until he gets a decent deep ball rating…not that he’s earned it.

Dwayne Bowe increased from an 86 overall to an 88. Earned in my opinion.

Charlie Anderson was released, though he has already been picked back up in real life.

And lastly, drum roll please…

Ricky Price was added. Know you are all excited. I am sure you, like me, will be inserting him straight in to your starting lineup.
