Who To Cheer For On The Chiefs Bye Week

facebooktwitterreddit

The Kansas City Chiefs won’t be playing football this afternoon but that doesn’t mean you don’t have anyone to cheer for.

The rest of the AFC West is in action and the Chiefs can gain some ground if their division rivals lose. Already holding a two game lead, the Chiefs could stretch that lead without even stepping on the field.

Let’s take a look at who you’ll be cheering for today.

Denver Broncos @ Tennessee Titans

The Donkeys have traveled to Tennessee to take on the Titans. Josh McDaniels has reportedly devised a “sweet ass game plan” on Madden 11 so the Titans could be in trouble. McDaniels apparently plans to run “a lot of toss sweeps” and “engage eight” on defense. Go Titans! A Tennessee win would make the Donkey’s 1-3. More after the jump.

Huston Texans @ Oakland Raiders

You’ll be rooting against Matt Shaub and the Texans in about 3 weeks when the Chiefs have to face them but today we are all Texans fans.

The Texans have traveled to the

California State Penitentiary

Oakland Coliseum to take on the Jokeland Faiders. I would say I am worried that the Raiders might get the best of the Texans given they are playing at home but the game is blacked out in Oakland so their will probably be more Houston fans in attendance than Raiders fans.

A Texans win would make the Raiders 1-3.

Arizona Cardinals @ San Diego Chargers

Lastly, you’ll be cheering very hard for the Arizona Cardinals.

The Cards have traveled to the

beautiful

empty Qualcomm stadium. San Diego, where they can’t even get fans to come to the stadium when their team is winning, will also be experiencing a blackout today. Sheesh. At leas the Raiders have the excuse of a decade of sucktitude. San Diego has a decade of regular season success to hang their helmets on.

The Cards don’t really have a QB so the Chargers will probably spank them but never underestimate the power of the San Diego Chargers to snatch defeat from the jaws of a sure victory.

If Derrick Anderson can do a halfway decent Kurt Warner impression today and the Chargers lose, they will also be 1-3. As it stands, even if the Chargers win, they’ll still be 2-2.

Enjoy your day of football Addicts! And Go Titans, Texans and Cardinals!
