Arrowhead Adventures! Post Training Camp Evaluation!

Training camp seems a distant past since the Kansas City Chiefs now sit 3-0. As I think back to the sweltering equatorial Africa like conditions the team and the fans suffered through in St. Joseph, a post I made comes to mind.

I was worried about a lot of things.

The thermometer flirted with 100, humidity was near that, and the players seemed to be practicing at 50% intensity. The adverse weather conditions, combined with the entirely new training camp location, new coordinators, and healthy infusion of new talent made me wonder exactly how our hero’s would fare.

I guess I didn’t need to worry much.

Straight out of the gate the Chiefs are 3-0, one of those games was one on foreign turf, and we even won a preaseason game against the Green Bay Packers. Wow!

So what do you think Addicts? Is our early success as a result of the changes and the adverse training conditions our team experienced in camp, or despite those barriers?

Your Arrowhead Adventurer at this point scratches his head in wonder.

how bout the fact that hailey will cut your ass if you dont produce

That's a good point. It probably did toughen them up a bit. I think the second year guys, and the coaching staff has a lot to do with it, specifically Crennel.

excellent point Clary! hmmm. maybe you have something there.

maybe going 50% in a lot of the practices has helped us in these early games by being able to stay healthy. It seems like a lot of teams lose a player or two to injury in the training camps and that has allowed us to stay healthy and fresh.
