Twitter Alert: Jackson Has MCL Sprain

Kansas City Chiefs DE Tyson Jackson went down late in the second half of the team’s 21-14 victory over the San Diego Chargers and did not return.

Now Nick Wright of 610 Sports is reporting that the injury was an MCL sprain that could sideline the second year player for 1-2 weeks.

From Wright’s Twitter:

"getnickwrightLatest Word on Tyson Jackson- Sprained Left MCL. Underwent MRI today. Likely out 1 or 2 weeks."

No confirmation on this yet from the Chiefs.

The injury comes as a blow as it appeared Jackson was in the midst of the best game of his career when he was injured.
