Ravens Sign TJ Houshmandzadeh

The Kansas City Chiefs will not be plugging their WR holes with former Seahawk TJ Houshmanzadeh. Adam Schefter has just reported via Twitter that the receiver has reached an agreement with the Baltimore Ravens.

Ravens reached agreement with former Seahawks wide receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh on a one-year, $855,000 deal. More at espn.com.

We never had any indication that the Chiefs were going to go after Houshmandzadeh but he might have been a good fit, especially considering the Ravens got him at a fairly low price.

Perhaps the Chiefs feel good about Jeremy Horne and Terrance Copper being their only WR depth but I know I don’t.

All the reports indicate that the Ravens are now looking to trade Mark Clayton. A bit similar to Dwayne Bowe and Mark Bradley, maybe too much so for you guys, but it could be a good pickup for the Chiefs. Any interest being reported?

I'm probably the minority here, but personally i'd rather just get Horne on the field rather than sign somebody else. It would be nice to have some experience behind Bowe and Chambers though.

Too bad, he could have helped to round out our top 4.

That is a shame, because we really could of used him.their still is michael clayton out their,he would be better than nothing. It looks like the ravens mean business.
