Chiefs Set Practice Squad

The Kansas City Chiefs set their 8 man practice squad today. Once the players cleared waivers this afternoon the team was free to add them.

Here is the list. It made up of players that were cut yesterday.

Garrett Brown, Dion Gales, Bobby Greenwood, Darryl Harris, Tyler Palko, Ricky Price, Verran Tucker, Pierre Walters

These players basically serve as depth and can be called up to the main roster at any time should the Chiefs need them. The danger in stashing guys on the practice squad is that any other NFL team can sign these players away from the Chiefs at any time. Andy Studebaker, who appears to be the Chiefs outside linebaker of the future, was plucked from the Eagles practice squad by the Herm Edwards regime.
