Chiefs Trade Page To Patriots For Conditional Pick

facebooktwitterreddit

ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Kansas City Chiefs have traded safety Jarrad Page to the New England Patriots for a conditional draft pick.

Schefter tweeted the following:

"Adam_SchefterFiled to ESPN: Chiefs traded S Jarrad Page, who signed his contract only on Friday, to New England for a conditional draft pick."

We currently don’t have the details on this deal but it is likely for a late round pick and has a chance to be higher if Page meets certain criteria during the season.

This move has a better outcome than the last time the Chiefs had to deal with a disgruntled safety. This time last year, much to the shock of Chiefs Nation, the Chiefs released Bernard Pollard. Pollard ended up signing with the Houston Texans and went on to have a very productive season, making the Chiefs look foolish for not getting anything in return.

What do you think Addicts? Are you glad Page is gone? What draft pick do you think the Chiefs will get for him?
