Chiefs Mini Camp and OTA Dates

The dates have been released for the Chiefs OTA’s and mini camps.

Minicamps: April 30-May 2 (rookies), June 11-13
OTAs: May 17-19, May 24-25, May 27, June 1-3, June 7-9, June 14-15

Rookie Mini Camp: April 30-May2

Then we have couple weeks off to…er…watch the NBA playoffs?

OTA: May 17-19

The Chiefs smartly tacked that last OTA directly on to the end of their Mini Camp to give  the team a healthy 5 days together before training camp.

I refer from mid-June to the end of July as “The Dark Times.” There is little light on those long days of summer. Never the less, we will be kickin here at AA keeping you entertained with the usual thoughts, analysis and dirty nicknames for Philip Rivers.

This is a pivotal season for the Chiefs. If they can turn it around now and win more games than they lose, I think the last 3 seasons will be but a bitter memory. If they can’t, chances are they could be setting off on the long road to Loserville as opposed to the one that leads to the Lombardi Trophy.

Either way, we hope you’ll travel with us…Especially if it is the road to Loserville…man, I ain’t goin down there by myself. No way. I am takin you all with me.
