The good news is we are finally back on Monday Night Football, for the home opener, at the new Arrowhead Stadium. Does it get much better that that? If you aren’t planning on going to that game, why bother going to any all year? The bad news is that will be are only prime-time game of the season, but we do get an “extra home” game too. Monday Night Football returns to Arrowhead! With a little luck we could be in the playoff hunt this year but, realistically I see us as no better than 8-8.

hell i think 8-8 could win the division, if the nfl didn't give the chargers an easier schedule than the chiefs

This is awesome, can't wait for next season! Opening on MNF will be so amazing. Arrowhead will be rocking with the sea of Red in full force! For all those that are worried about who is going to call the game. Come to town, buy a ticket and come join me at the stadium! Ok I know its not that easy, but seriously, I wouldn't miss this game for the world!

Given that last season was the 50th celebration of the AFL, founded by Lamar Hunt, and the Chiefs didn't get a nationally televised game while the Broncos, Chargers, and Raiders did, a home opener on MNF to start the season is the least the NFL could do.

MNF season opener at home = AWESOME.

Crap...Since it is the late MNF double header it means Mike & Mike douchetating will be had.

KCFX better fix their stream of Lenny and Mitch for this game. I mean it's only 2010, maybe Cumulus can finally figure it out.

Yah I just realized that to so it kind of takes a little out of it for me, but still its a Monday night game for the home opener and you know there going to fly some planes over for that game. It will be a great time opening the new look of Arrowhead.
