Matt Cassel Press Conference: Live Coverage

Matt Cassel will give a press conference on KC Chiefs.com at 12:15 PM (CST).

He is expected at the podium in 5 minutes. (12:40 or so)

-Cassel walks in and immediately breaks the microphone. =)

-Matt is happy about the competition being created on the offensive line. He is working to get to know his new teammates. (Lilja and Weigmann).

_”Chris (Chambers) was a high impact guy for us last year. We should be able to build on what we started last year. ”

-Matt talked about the new workout program. Says he is sore in places he has never been sore before.

-On Dwayne Bowe: Says he has high expectations for Bowe.

-Cassel looks a little bigger than last year. Can’t really see his arms but his face looks fuller. Wonder if he put on fat or muscle.

-Cassel feels like the team now understands what is expected of the them. He feels the team has a core group that understand their roles.

-Matt is excited to be back and working out. He is excited to see what the team can do this season.

-Cassel talks about Haley’s demeanor. “At the end of the day, coach Haley pushes us to be the best we can be.”
