Derrick Thomas for the NFL Hall of Fame Campaign

AUTHOR: Adam Best | IN: Chiefs | COMMENTS: 20 Comments

There’s another campaign we’re buzzing about other than the presidential one that’s going on — the Derrick Thomas for the NFL Hall of Fame campaign.
This is D.T.’s fourth shot, and probably his best chance to get in. Regardless of what anybody thinks of him as an all-around player, he was unquestionably one of the top-five pass rushers and maybe even defensive game changers of all time. He deserves to be in the Hall. No doubt about it. He also recently won the 2007 COAT (Chief of All Time) award. Should someone who was voted a team’s all-time best player not [...]

Introducing… Cat Crave

AUTHOR: Adam Best | IN: Off-Topic/Other | COMMENTS: None Yet

Once again… we have another sister site! The Fan-Sided Blogs network is pleased to introduce Cat Crave, a Carolina Panthers blog. The Panthers may have had a down year, but they are a squad that’s difficult to dislike. Jake Delhomme, Julius Peppers, Steve Smith, etc… they’ve got a lotta fight in them. Actually, John Fox reminds me a lot of Herm. Anyway, John White is a native Carolinian and the lead blogger over there, and he’s already taken off with a running start on the blogging. Go check out Cat Crave.

Glad to Be Back

AUTHOR: stevenh | IN: Chiefs | COMMENTS: 8 Comments

Let me start off by saying that I would like to thank Adam and the gang of Arrowhead Addict for giving me the opportunity to write some articles and give my opinions on a part-time basis. Thank you. For those of you who never read any of my previous stuff over at ChiefsBlitz.com-first off, you should be ashamed of yourself and second of all, let me tell you a little about myself.
I am not a professional journalist (which will become obvious once you read some of my stuff) and really I’m not much of a writer. But what [...]

Senior Bowl Highlights

AUTHOR: Adam Best | IN: Draft | COMMENTS: 15 Comments

Found this over at Arrowhead Pride. The names that stood out to me — and I didn’t watch the game, but I’ve read up on it and watched this reel — QB Chad Henne, OT Chris Williams, CB Dominique Rogers-Cromartie, QB Joe Flacco, OT Sam Baker and DT Sedrick Ellis had the best Senior Bowl weeks. Two other guys Chiefs fans should keep our eyes on are WR Andre Caldwell (who made the game-winning play) and TE Brad Cottam (who I’ve mentioned before as a possible Jason Dunn replacement). Both players performed better than expected, and they could be sitting [...]

Take That, King Carl: Tynes Appears on Letterman

AUTHOR: Adam Best | IN: Video | COMMENTS: None Yet

How do you think Carl Peterson feels about trading ex-Chiefs and current New York Giants kicker Lawrence Tynes now? Not only was he the unlikely hero — even though he was nearly the goat — of the NFC Championship, dude just went on The David Letterman Show. I mean, typically people like famous actors and presidential candidates appear on the show. King Carl, that is something that even you will never, ever do. When you have an ego as big as Carl’s, that has to hurt.
Check out the footage…

For all your Super Bowl coverage this week, at least Giants wise, [...]
