The 12-1 Kansas City Chiefs hit the road to play the 3-10 Cleveland Browns in Week 15. People expected this kind of season from the back-to-back defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs but it's been a massively disappointing year from the Browns, who went to the playoffs last year and looked prime to have another solid season.

Be that as it may, the Browns are still a feisty team, even if they have just three wins on the year. Jameis Winston is one of the most interesting players to watch in the league because in the same way he can make your team pay on a jaw-dropping touchdown pass, he can also throw the ball to the other team and have it result in a pick-6.

Chiefs fans are hoping to see a lot of pick-6's from Winston in this game and for just the third time this season, the game will be kicking off at noon, a rarity for the back-to-back Super Bowl champions. With this being a noon game, which announcer crew will be on the call?

Announcers for Chiefs vs. Browns

  • Lead Play-by-Play Announcer: Ian Eagle
  • Color Commentator: Charles Davis
  • Sideline Reporter: Evan Washburn

The Chiefs had this broadcast crew on their game a few weeks ago when they narrowly escaped Carolina with a victory. This crew isn't on Chiefs games very often but considering how often K.C. games used to get the Spero Dedes treatment, we'll take any Ian Eagle game that CBS wants to give us.

Referees for Chiefs vs. Browns

Head Referee: Tra Blake

This is the first repeated official for the Chiefs this season, as Tra Blake was the head ref for the Chiefs' tight win over the Falcons. That game had some reffing controversy, as all Chiefs games tend to, as Blake's crew failed to call what looked to be DPI on Bryan Cook against Kyle Pitts in the end zone. Had the play been called, the Falcons would have received a fresh set of downs and more opportunities to try and take the lead and win the game.

Having Blake on the call for this game will mean that whenever the Chiefs get any calls, people will accuse them of paying him once again. I guess it doesn't matter which officials are on K.C. games at this point. Those accusations are going to happen no matter what.
