The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Denver Broncos for the first time in the 2024 regular season and we're in a bit of an interesting situation with this match-up. The Broncos have a winning record entering this match-up and would actually be in the playoffs if the postseason kicked off this very instant.

The Broncos have gotten to their 5-4 record with their suffocating defense and hoping that rookie quarterback Bo Nix does enough to not lose them the game. The Chiefs had an impressive 16-game win streak against the Broncos that stemmed from the end of the 2015 season to midway of the 2023 season with the Chiefs losing in embarrassing fashion in the Mile High City.

Starting another 16-game win streak would be great but this won't be a cakewalk. The Broncos aren't a joke this year and the Chiefs always let teams hang around longer than they should. It's also worth noting that this is KCs first game set to kick off at noon in 2024, which is a wild thought considering it's November.

With such an intriguing AFC match-up, who is calling the game and who will the head ref be?

Announcers for Chiefs vs. Broncos

  • Lead Play-by-Play Announcer: Kevin Harlan
  • Color Commentator: Trent Green
  • Sideline Reporter: Melanie Collins

Chiefs fans are going to be psyched to hear Kevin Harlan's voice during this game as he's one of the most beloved broadcasters in any sport. Former Chiefs quarterback Trent Green will be accompanying him in the booth for color commentary. On the sidelines is Melanie Collins, another talented broadcaster. This is one of the best crews in the NFL.

Referee for Chiefs vs. Broncos

Head Referee: Brad Allen

The head referee for this match-up will be Brad Allen, who has been a ref in the NFL since 2014. Funny enough, Allen was the referee the last time these two teams met up, officiating the Chiefs' blowout loss in Denver last year. A few weeks later, he was the head ref when the Chiefs lost to the Packers in Green Bay, meaning KC went 0-2 in games with Allen at the helm.
