Warren Moon is, of course, an all-time great NFL quarterback whom most football fans know of, both young and old.

But, what some may not know or could have forgotten were the two years he spent at the end of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs. At the time, he was nearing retirement and over the age of 40, but still wanted to play.

When the Seattle Seahawks made the decision to move on from Moon back in 1999, he ended up in Kansas City as a backup. Only starting one game with the Chiefs before retiring after the 2000 season, Moon still thoroughly enjoyed his time in Kansas City.

Appearing in an interview with Sterling Holmes and Patrick Allen of Stacking the Box, during this year's Super Bowl 59 Radio Row, Moon spoke on behalf of NFL Alumni and their campaign "Gear It Up Against Cancer."

Warren Moon remains connected to the Chiefs organization to this day

Along with talking about being a season ticket holder for the Chiefs, to this day, Moon also explained his affinity for the city of Kansas City and why he chose to end his career with the Chiefs.

"I decided to go to Kansas City, maybe that could be a place I could finish," he said. "I had always played there ... tremendous support in the community there, one of the loudest, toughest places to play in the league each and every year ... 80,000 people in red.

"It's a great community. I enjoyed my two years living there. I still go back there as a season ticket holder. I still do things with the organization from time to time when they ask me."

Some might remember Moon for his big numbers posted with the Houston Oilers or those three seasons he spent with the Minnesota Vikings, but it is the Chiefs with whom Moon remains very close to, to this day.
