Kansas City Chiefs fans are used to seeing star tight end Travis Kelce make jaw-dropping plays. He's continued to deliver on that, even in the offseason, as Kelce is participating in the WM Phoenix Open Pro-Am, a charity golf event being held this week.
Kelce showed that he doesn't just excel in football, but golf as well, proving as such with an incredible birdie on the 16th hole. Kelce's first swing saw the ball land close to the pin, nearly giving him a hole-in-one. It was an incredible feat and landed him the WM's gold chain.
What can't @tkelce do 🤯

Travis Kelce proves he is built different with jaw dropping birdie
It was a cool moment and was followed by Kelce playing the air guitar because., well, why not celebrate a swing like that? Eamon Lynch of The Golf Channel hit the nail on the head with his response: "I think Taylor Swift is going to write a song about that one." That'd sure be something.
This incredible shot by Kelce, of course, led to his quarterback applauding his efforts on social media. He posted a simple "Let's go!!!!!" and then tagged Kelce's X handle and added three bullseye emojis.
Let’s go!!!!! @tkelce 🎯🎯🎯

That said, Mahomes had to hilariously clarify his comments a few moments later. Posting a simple exclamatory remark referencing Kelce was bound to mislead some members of Chiefs Kingdom who are on the edge of their seats, wondering if the perennial Pro Bowl tight end will return for another season. Thus, Mahomes was wise to add some context for his post.

Normally, this time of year, Kelce and the Chiefs are gearing up to play in the Super Bowl. The star tight end found himself with more time than he probably knew what to do with, considering the Chiefs missed the playoffs for only the second time in his lengthy and decorated career.
Well, it appears that Kelce has figured out a way to fill the time just fine. He's straight up thriving.
