"That was the most fun I've had ever in a football game."

The Arrowhead Stadium experience is unmatched (which is why we're so despondent over the upcoming changes), so it's no surprise to hear someone say how enraptured they were when watching the Kansas City Chiefs play at home. Still, it's fun to hear the testimonies anyway.

The latest convert is none other than Tom Cruise, perhaps the single most popular actor alive. Cruise recently appeared as a guest on New Heights—the podcast hosted by Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce—to promote his upcoming film, Digger. To start the conversation, however, Kelce asked Cruise about his recent trip to Arrowhead.

From the jump, Cruise found the right word: fun. "So much fun, man," he said, before going further into the experience, insisting that it wasn't just about living it up in a suite next to Taylor Swift, Kelce's wife.
It was clear that Cruise also enjoyed the on-field product. "Mahomes is back. The team is just hitting. It's fantastic. It was great," said Cruise.

Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce hosted the actor on the latest episode of New Heights to talk Chiefs and his new movie.

"I gotta say, the whole crowd, the vibe, you hear about it, but to be here and experience it ... It was so fun. All your friends, all the other people there, just such a beautiful vibe. And to see... look, Mahomes' comeback is just miraculous. But you guys together and the whole team together is a wonderful experience."

Cruise picked a good time to visit Arrowhead. After a six-win season, Chiefs fans weren't exactly sure what to expect from a team with a star QB making his way back from torn knee ligaments, a completely rebuilt secondary, a massive backfield upgrade, and a rookie free agent making his first start at left tackle. That the reigning division champions, the Denver Broncos, were visiting only heightened the drama.

Of course, we all know the outcome. The Chiefs dominated from the jump and eventually won by 21 points. Kenneth Walker put on a dazzling show in his Chiefs debut. Mahomes looked like he'd never been injured in the first place, save for some first-half rust in the passing game. The infusion of speed on defense paid dividends for four quarters. Arrowhead was electric for the entirety of Cruise's visit.

An actor known for performing so many of his own stunts knows a thing or two about subjecting his body to the work for the sake of the bigger goal. Maybe Cruise holds a deeper apprecation for football than anybody realizes. Or maybe he's just saying all the right things while promoting his latest film. Either way, he's not wrong.
