After undoubtedly enjoying the few weeks of rest and recuperate since clinching the top seed in the conference, the Kansas City Chiefs are now back in practice to get ready for the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round. During the downtime, however, Chiefs players got a chance to rest while some other figures in the organization took the opportunity to consider other jobs.

For some coaches and front office executives, the last couple of weeks have been the window within which they have the opportunity to take job interviews for major openings around the league—whether on the sidelines as a head coach or in the front office as a general manager.

The Chiefs assistant general manager, Mike Borgonzi, finds himself in the crosshairs of at least two teams who are potentially interested in bringing him in to oversee their roster reconstruction: the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans.

Mike Borgonzi is on the radar of two NFL franchises to potentially take over their front offices.

The Titans just completed their first-round interview with Borgonzi as they try to replace Ran Carthon. Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham was also interviewed over the weekend along with former Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff, former Raiders GM, Reggie McKenzie, and Colts exec Ed Dodds. Here's the full list.

Borgonzi has taken interviews in the past, as he did with the Washington Commanders a year ago, and the New York Jets were on him early this offseason as well with a request for an interview. Both teams have talked to several candidates apiece, however, so it's hard to tell if Borgonzi is really a close finalist for a role or not at this point.

Borgonzi is in his 16th year with the Chiefs' organization.
