This was quite the low (high) blow.

Everybody and their brother loves taking digs at the Kansas City Chiefs these days. They have become the new Patriots, and you know what? That's perfectly fine with Chiefs Kingdom.

Every week, it seems as though there are countless complaints by non-Chiefs fans over a bad call, a non-call or some other kind of referee "bias" toward the Chiefs. But, the fact of the matter is, these Chiefs are en route to a three-peat and are in the midst of a dynasty.

You can't argue the facts.

Now, what you can argue is, indeed, a bad or missed call by a referee. We all love to do it, right or wrong. Fans make a living on doing these things, right?

Well, here we are with the Chiefs center-stage, once again, in a situation where a referee blatantly missed something. And, non-Chiefs fans might blow this one off but ... it was bad.

In the Week 7 matchup with the San Francisco 49ers, quarterback Patrick Mahomes took a cheap shot from defensive lineman Maliek Collins. How cheap?

You be the judge. You can watch the play here, but it sure looked like a throat punch from Collins on Mahomes.

Call it what you want, but this was completely uncalled for by the Niners defensive lineman. And, the worst part was, it wasn't flagged.

Bengals fans might laugh. AFC West divisional fans would likely join in. But, the reality is, there's no place for something like that.

Don't be surprised if Collins gets notice of a fine early this week.
