The 2026 NFL Draft is one of the most unique drafts in recent memory, with a really thin group of top prospects followed by some great depth at specific spots. Many positions that often are considered "low-value" positions are strong, and balancing your approach to the draft will be one of the most important things for NFL GMs this offseason.
The best positions in this class are cornerback, linebacker, and wide receiver, positions that often have great value late in the draft. But with the lack of top talent at quarterback and in the trenches, placing value on players across the draft board can be a tall task. For the Chiefs, who are coming off their worst season in over a decade, making sure they attack this draft the right way is essential.
As of today, the Chiefs have three picks in the top 50 of this year's class, and they will be looking to come away with a couple of franchise cornerstones by the end of draft weekend. This draft is the subject of much debate, as many players are grouped together in each tier, and sorting them out, along with the team's needs, is a tall task. So today, I took that task head-on and sorted the top 75 players the Chiefs should look to target on draft weekend this offseason.

What This Means for Kansas City
While these are my top players for the Chiefs, this may not perfectly reflect the players' value for all teams in the draft, and the Chiefs' management will have to gauge where they can land each of the top players on their board. But this list is a good reference for players who can make an immediate impact and should be the Chiefs' top targets on draft day.
