What time is the Chiefs vs. Cardinals game tonight?
By Matt Conner
The Kansas City Chiefs came into Saturday ready to make their second road trip of the preseason looking for their first win and ultimately some solid momentum as they get ready to take on the Arizona Cardinals.
For the Chiefs, it's a bit of a homecoming after playing in State Farm Stadium twice last season—first to open the year and then again to close it out against the Philadelphia Eagles as the Phoenix area hosted Super Bowl LVII last February.
The primary goal for the Chiefs will be to come out healthy, especially knowing the pitiful reputation of the playing surface here in Phoenix. Beyond that, the Chiefs can only hope the starting units come out more energized for the road ahead than last Sunday against the Saints when they fell flat in an ultimate 26-24 loss. Last week, the Saints were up 17-0 before K.C. could even get anything going offensively.
With a bit of a shorter week, having played on Sunday last weekend, it helps that at least the Chiefs play later on Saturday to give them as much time between contests as possible. The Chiefs also play another Saturday game next weekend to finish up the preseason at home against the Cleveland Browns.
