The Browns will visit the Chiefs for the final preseason game for both teams on Sunday.

The Kansas City Chiefs will play host to the Cleveland Browns in the third and final preseason game for both teams on Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium. Game time for the exhibition is at 12:00 p.m. C.T.

The Browns are going to be an interesting team for NFL fans to follow this season as they hope for strong production from Deshaun Watson now that he's entrenched under center after a full offseason with the team. The Browns endured significant criticism after making the move to get him, and they paid through the nose on a lucrative contract making the bet that he could turn around the franchise's fortunes on the field.

As for the game against the Chiefs, however, it's highly unlikely that either side will see the principal stars involved. The Chiefs have no plans to play their starters and will instead allow role players and developmental prospects to earn the bulk of playing time in an attempt to sort out the toughest roster battles from the team's preseason as well as to avoid injuries before the regular season begins.

For some of the unsorted roster battles, Chiefs fans should be watching for a nice backfield matchup with Deneric Prince and La'Mical Perine. The quarterbacks might be featured in Blaine Gabbert and Shane Buechele, although Chris Oladokun will likely earn a lot of reps. The defensive line will get a chance to impress in the wake of Chris Jones's holdout and Turk Wharton's injury as well.

The Chiefs begin the NFL's regular season slate with a home bout against the Detroit Lions on September 7.
