What time is the Chiefs vs Bears game today?
By Matt Conner
No one should be excited to see a bear coming toward them, but the Kansas City Chiefs have to feel very good about seeing the Chicago football franchise advancing on the NFL schedule. Their game against the Bears in Week 3 is perhaps the juiciest game on the schedule.
For a Chiefs team that clearly needs more time to get the details down and their house in order, a visit from the Bears is exactly what the doctor ordered. The Bears are not only still searching for their first win, but are likely going to contend for the title of "worst overall roster" in the NFL by season's end.
That's not to say that the Bears will just roll over instead of roar when they come to town, but it's hard to imagine Justin FIelds and company putting up too great of a fight against the Chiefs. And if the Chiefs find themselves with a comfortable lead, they will enjoy the sort of opportunity to course correct on personnel decisions or overcome mental hurdles.
For the Chiefs, they'll be looking to help Jawaan Taylor settle into his right tackle role while making the requisite adjustments based on what refs are calling. Last week, he was benched for a couple of plays in order to settle after committing four penalties (he would commit one more after his return) and he'll be someone to watch going into Week 3. It will also be fascinating to see how Travis Kelce looks as he continues to nurse a bone bruise, and which wide receivers develop a stronger rapport week after week with Patrick Mahomes.
The Bears and the Chiefs will kick off at Arrowhead Stadium at 3:25 p.m. C.T.
