What time is the Chiefs game tonight?
By Matt Conner
Starring in another primetime game for the Kansas City Chiefs is a fairly normal occurrence these years for a franchise trying its best to establish a dynasty. Unfortunately for those tuning in, the once hoped-for showdown is not projected to provide much in the way of actual competition.
With the news that Aaron Rodgers is recovering from an Achilles injury and ruled out for the season, the Chiefs and Jets will not feature the hyped-up matchup between Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes. In his place will be Zach Wilson, who is likely set to be replaced at any point by a body of the street—say, Trevor Siemian. So yeah, don't expect much in the way of a shootout or any real sort of close call.
That said, the good news for viewers is that Travis Kelce is hanging out with Taylor Swift these days and she's expected to be at MetLife Stadium on Sunday to support her favorite tight end. That should at least provide enough distraction in case the score is as lopsided as bettors and analysts expect it to be.
