In the days leading up to Super Bowl LVIII, one team is acting as though they've been there before while one team is finding whatever they can to complain about. The Kansas City Chiefs are the former and the San Francisco 49ers are the latter of that sentence in case you didn't know.
It all started late last week when Nick Bosa commented how the Chiefs tackles "hold a lot" and 49ers owner Jed York backed up Bosa's statement. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce was heaping George Kittle's praises and the Chiefs have complemented their opponents.
Well, the Niners still haven't stopped complaining and the Super Bowl is just days away. What are they complaining about this time, you ask? Well, that would be the practice field conditions.
"A 49ers advance group that includes members of the equipment staff and grounds team traveled to Las Vegas last week to check out the facilities. They feel the grass is too soft for the team to practice on, and the team has considered alternatives, sources say. "From Jonathan Jones' article
49ers keep complaining ahead of Super Bowl 58
Oh goody another story about the field conditions for a Chiefs opponent at a Super Bowl. Now granted, this one is about the practice field but fans are having flashbacks to last year's Super Bowl where the Eagles complained about the field conditions. Hopefully, this isn't something that comes back up as a storyline should the Chiefs win once again.
