Way too early 2025 Mock Draft: KC Chiefs lay a strong defensive foundation
By Price Carter
Round 3: Trevor Etienne, RB, Georgia
Brother of Jacksonville Jaguars' back Travis Etienne, Trevor has been productive the last two years for the Gators. In 2024, he'll be in line for a big season as a transfer for the Georgia Bulldogs. Trevor is a smaller-framed speed back who would be ideal in an outside zone scheme and as a passing down back.
Etienne will have some character flags as he was arrested for DUI and reckless driving in March of 2024.
The Chiefs have been looking for this type of back for a long time behind Pacheco. Etienne is about to have a big season at Georgia as the featured back. While the off-the-field issue and running back value might suppress his value, the end of day 2 might be a great chance to grab him. His speed on the outside would be a great threat to the Chiefs' running and passing game.
