Max Strus had his moment on Tuesday night—one so thrilling that it caught the attention of pretty much everyone, including Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
Strus, a small forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers, was on fire down the stretch against the Dallas Mavericks in a close game at home. Strus had already nailed four three-pointers in the game's final four minutes before he took possession on the game's final play.
Shortly before Strus's magical moment, the Mavs took the lead on a dunk by P.J. Washington with less than three seconds to play. Evan Mobley passed the ball to Strus after inbounding the ball, and Strus took a single dribble before launching a shot that was later measured at 59 feet. Suddenly the place erupted, the bench celebrated, and the world took notice.
First, here's the shot in case you weren't watching the game:

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes took notice and pinged his pal Travis Kelce, a Cleveland native, saying "Ain't no way".

While we love reactions from our favorite players, the best of all was the one of Cleveland's bench having come out ahead in such a hard-fought effort. Winning is fun!
Come for the Max Strus game winner…
