Travis Kelce gets his first carry in the music business on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour
By Matt Conner
Less than one year ago, Travis Kelce was lamenting his inability to give a friendship bracelet with his phone number to Taylor Swift as she came through town on her massive Eras Tour. Less than a year later, he's joining her on stage in front of 80,000 to 90,000 fans in London on the latest stop of the same tour.
Suffice it to say, it's been quite a year for Kelce.
Kel;ce is no stranger to being in attendance at Swift's shows given their romantic relationship. The Chiefs tight end has done a great job of being by her side as much as possible (and vice versa) between their professional calendars that both have to uphold. But despite all of his concert appearances, he's yet to actually join in the production.
On Sunday, Kelce officially took their relationship to the next level—or least in a public way. For concertgoers at Wembley Stadium, the third show of the Eras Tour included an appearance by Kelce in full tux and top hat as part of the transition to one of her newest songs, "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Kelce's appearance included a segment where he not only jumped and clicked his heels but he also carried Swift across the stage.
We guess the right way to say it would be that Kelce had a single carry on the night for approximately four yards.
