3. Louis Rees-Zammit, Flex

I know, I know. This one is a little bit of wishful thinking. With that in mind, where there is smoke, there is generally fire. One clue to how the Chiefs feel about Louis Rees-Zammit is the number of years they tacked onto his contract.

Generally, a person who didn't play football as their original sport would be fortunate to get a one-year deal. The Chiefs inked Rees-Zammit to a three-year deal. Beyond the years in his contract, the Chiefs have been very willing to put him on social media posts and have allowed the hype train to roll. Again, where we can find smoke, there certainly could be fire.

The boom potential for Rees-Zammit is as a receiving running back. Isiah Pacheco will get the bulk of the carries and touches, but there is currently no obvious candidate to take Jerick McKinnon's snaps from a season ago. Enter Louis Rees-Zammit.

As a rugby star, catching passes out of the backfield and finding lanes in the open field should be his specialty. If he pans out the way that the Chiefs are hoping, he could be an excellent option as a rotational piece of your fantasy football team.

The great news is that unless you are in a fantasy football league with fellow Chiefs fans, Rees-Zammit should be available in the last few picks of your draft in a keeper or single-season league. It's a modest gamble that could pay off hugely for your team.
