2. Marquise "Hollywood" Brown, WR
While it is easy to see the speed and potential of Xavier Worthy, one of the more overlooked players in fantasy football leagues this season is going to be "Hollywood" Brown. This is due, in part, to the idea that Travis Kelce will have another monster season and that the Chiefs added some other new receivers this offseason. With Kelce being 34 and other receivers being either rookies or likely suspended for part of the season, there is a scenario in which Brown has a monster season.
In 14 games last season, Brown garnered 101 targets and caught 51 passes. This, admittedly doesn't make him look great. When you take into consideration what the Cardinals were last season, however, it is obvious that he was the only weapon that they had. Finishing 4-13, the Cardinals were without Kyler Murray for half of the season. Furthermore, a rotation of Michael Wilson, Rondale Moore, and Greg Dortch were the receivers on the depth chart behind Brown.
One bright spot on the roster that I am inclined to mention was the emergence of tight end Trey McBride, who was the only player who topped Brown in targets, mind you, Brown's target share was over 14 games, while McBride's was over 17.
Brown has not yet been in an ideal situation to catch passes in a pass-first offense. This year is his first opportunity for that. In either a keeper or single-season fantasy league, a player that could have his career-best statistics is worthy of a mid-round pick. There is a real chance that Brown could carry a team deep into the fantasy playoffs.
