Now that mandatory minicamp has concluded, the next major event for the Kansas City Chiefs is the commencement of their 2024 training camp next month.

Although a few moves may still occur over the next several weeks, Kansas City's roster is largely set for the start of training camp. As the back-to-back defending Super Bowl champions and one of the top favorites to win Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, it's no surprise that their roster is considered one of the best in football.

But what are the strongest aspects of their elite roster? Which position groups stand out in the NFL's current dynasty?

Let's review the biggest strengths of the 2024 Kansas City Chiefs roster.

HONORABLE MENTION: DEFENSIVE LINE DEPTH

In each of the past two seasons, the Chiefs finished second in total sacks. The main reason for this success is the depth and versatility along their entire defensive line. While Chris Jones is a first-ballot Hall of Famer, several other players are vital to the unit's success.

George Karlaftis has been solid over his first two seasons, Mike Danna is a Steve Spagnuolo favorite, Charles Omenihu was impressive in his limited time last year, and Felix Anudike-Uzomah is expected to take a step forward this season.

Not only are these players good football players, but their versatility allows Spagnuolo to call exotic blitzes, coverages, and formations. Without their strong performance, the Chiefs wouldn't have repeated as champions in February.
