As the Kansas City Chiefs celebrate their third Super Bowl victory in five years, Drue Tranquill is soaking it up for the first time in his career. Tranquill spent the first four years of his career with the Los Angeles Chargers before signing with KC in the offseason in what could be considered the best free-agent signing for the team last year.

Tranquill was a huge piece for the Chiefs defense, making clutch tackles when called upon and just being a cheerleader for the entire team. Tranquill spoke to KSHB41 during the parade and said "This is way better than LA", which sounds like he's loving life and wants to return to Kansas City for a second year.

Drue Tranquill sounds like he's wanting to return to KC

The Chiefs will have to make some difficult decisions this offseason, especially on the defensive side of the ball, but if there's any way they can keep Tranquill, they absolutely need to do it. It sounds like he's more than open to returning to Kansas City and he only cost $3 million last season. He'll likely cost a little more than that since he showed that he can contribute in big ways this year but it feels as though he'd be an affordable option to bring back.

There will be a lot of moving parts for the Chiefs but Drue Tranquill has spoken and sounds like he's open to a reunion.
