Chiefs vs Bengals Time, Location, Streaming, Odds & More: Everything you need to know for Week 17
By Matt Conner
On the outside looking in, this Bengals-Chiefs game feels like a shell of what fans would have expected before the season. For the Cincinnati Bengals, they're on the outside looking in of the current playoff picture and felt their title chances slip away when Joe Burrow was lost for the year due to injury. When you add their slow start and other injuries, the team could have easily turned the page to next season.
The minor miracle, however, is that the Bengals didn't do that—at all. Instead, they found a way to gain some midseason momentum behind a defensive resurgence and the team's coaching staff is using backup quarterback Jake Browning well. They're putting him in a position to make plays and he's responding well by moving the chains and giving them a real chance.
That said, the hole might have been too great for Browning to salvage anything here, but they will still give K.C. a run for its money. That might not be too hard, by the way, after how comically poor the offense played in Week 16 in a loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Chiefs vs Bengals game time
The Bengals and Chiefs will kick off at 3:25 p.m. on Sunday, New Year's Eve. It will be the second straight holiday played by K.C.
Chiefs vs Bengals location
The Chiefs will host the Bengals for this year's matchup between two teams that always bring out the best in each other. It hurts that Burrow is out in this year's affair because Chiefs-Bengals games are always so entertaining and thrilling, but Arrowhead Stadium will be rocking all the same.
Chiefs vs Bengals odds
The Chiefs opened this week as 7.5-point favorites, which will likely inspire a laugh at the present moment from any fan who watched the Chiefs play against the Raiders on Christmas Day. After all, the offense stalled and the Chiefs somehow lost to a team that couldn't complete a single pass after the first quarter was over.
Still, the Chiefs really should win this one. Joe Burrow is out. They are at home. They should be looking to put their last performance behind them as quickly as possible, and the defense is still red hot. Lots of reasons to believe here despite Week 16's results.
Chiefs vs Bengals series history
Very few teams can talk about their record against the Chiefs with such confidence as the Cincinnati Bengals in recent years—ever since Andy Reid arrived. Overall, the Bengals lead the Chiefs 18-15 in regular season games and postseason matchups. What's amazing is that the Bengals are 4-2 since Reid arrived against K.C. and even their last meeting was a tight three-point postseason loss last winter. In short, expect them to play tough and close once again.

What's next for the Chiefs?
The Chiefs have only one game left after this one, a road trip to face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 18 at a time that has yet to be determined. The Chiefs already got the best of the Chargers in their first meeting of the season, a 31-17 win back in late October.
